The Boutique Workplace Company has bought serviced office provider Ventia, creating a business with more than 2,500 workspaces across central London.

Part of the Moorgarth Property Group, which is owned by South African retail entrepreneur Christo Wiese’s listed Tradehold vehicle, The Boutique Workplace Company will take control of Ventia and its assets with immediate effect.

The Boutique Workplace Company will also retain Ventia’s 35 strong staff including director Dan Wheble.

David Hall, managing director of The Boutique Workplace Company, said: “Ventia’s reputation and standing within the industry allows The Boutique Workplace Company to capitalise on its existing properties and trusted brand. Its established trackrecord in acquiring desirable office space at the right price and in the right location will serve to complement our ongoing strategy.

“The synergy between the two companies is undeniable as both businesses look to provide quality, bespoke serviced office space within central London.”

The purchase of Ventia provides The Boutique Workplace Company with a platform for further expansion.

Steve Baker, founding director of Ventia said: “We are delighted to have agreed to sell Ventia to The Boutique Workplace Company. It is a really great brand and culture fit, and I look forward to seeing the company go onwards and upwards building from a solid base.”

The Boutique Workplace Company was founded in January this year and has business centres in the West End and Midtown. Further business centres are in the pipeline with another due to launch in Shoreditch early next year.

Ventia was advised by Douglas Green.
