HANDYSIDE STREET/YORK WAY, KING’S CROSS, LONDON

TOG (The Office Group) has entered into a new 170,000 joint venture in King’s Cross, as reported in the Financial Times and Evening Standard.

TOG already has a significant footprint in King’s Cross with four existing buildings, Gridiron and the Stanley being on lease with Argent and King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership. What’s really interesting about this deal isn’t just the size or location of the space, both of which are entirely newsworthy on their own, it also points to the growing appetite for joint ventures among both landlords and operators in the flex sector who are looking at mixing their portfolios, ownership models and operating structures.

Douglas Green says: “It was brilliant to be brought in as part of the consultancy team by TOG for my background of negotiating management agreements and expertise in the field. For anyone who knows the King's Cross area, it's a real privilege to work on a deal that will further contribute to its unbelievable regeneration.”
